Simon trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and became a successful lighting designer with credits including the Royal Shakespeare Company, English National Opera, Scottish Opera and the Irish National Theatre, as well as two world tours for Torvill and Dean.

About 20 years ago he became a creative director,  creating events, experiences, exhibitions and films for a wide variety of clients around the world. Through his work he has had the opportunity to work closely with many creative disciplines including architects, designers, sculptors, choreographers, directors and composers.

Simon is now Managing Director of the Events division of IMG Artists, who manage some of the world's leading classical musicians. The events division creates and runs cultural festivals with a focus on classical music, with plans to diversify into a range of other events.

He lives in the middle of Cirencester with his wife and two young daughters, and is delighted to have the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience to help shape the future of New Brewery Arts.
