Graham Russell joined the Board of Trustees in 2006 and served as Vice Chairman from 2008 to 2011. Graham undertook a significant role in the strategic development of New Brewery Arts both during and following the major building refurbishment.

Graham has extensive experience of developing social enterprises including initiating community inspired arts which offer an inclusive and engaging approach.

Graham’s career background includes senior roles for Business in the Community, the Commission for Rural Communities, Government, local authorities, and a number of national charities. Graham is also the Chairman of a Housing Association active in Gloucestershire and Visiting Professor at Plymouth University Business School.
