Sue Herdman has lived in the area for 54 years and became a District Councillor in 1983, Chairing Cotswold District Council for three years from 1995 to 1998.  She has been Chair of Air in G (Arts in Rural Gloucestershire) since its inception and is President of Age Concern Cirencester and Barton Hall Senior Citizens Club.

Sue has been involved with Brewery Arts for many years, including a stint as Chairman, and has always been interested in the arts in rural areas - aiming to promote art and craft and help increase access to artistic opportunities. 

An accomplished botanical illustrator, Sue relaxes by concentrating on her beautiful garden in North Cerney.
