MEET YOUR TUTORs

Hannah Ellis

Hannah has been teaching at New Brewery Arts since 2012. She encourages students of all ages and abilities to have fun experimenting, realise their creative potential and unleash their imaginations! Her own practice is inspired by memories of places she has visited and the countryside near where she lives.

Hannah is an artist and art teacher living and working in Gloucestershire. Her background is in Fine Art, which she studied at Cardiff Metropolitan University, graduating in 2012 with a First-Class Honours Degree. Since then, she has been teaching art in schools, museums and art organisations across the county as well as continuing to develop her own practice, painting predominantly in oils.

Emma Roch

Emma has been teaching at New Brewery Arts Since 2022. She is trained in textiles and visual design, inspired by nature and the world around her through the exploration of colour, pattern and texture. Working in mixed media weave, print and collage.

Emma is hugely passionate about making arts accessible to all and the positive impact it has on each of us. She finds its hugely rewarding teaching creative workshops to all ages but predominately under 18s; encouraging creative thinking, building resilience and empowering young artists to be freely expressive within their work.
