For one to two months each year since January 1994 Dorothy Reglar has worked with hand-weaving projects in SE Asia.

"I am not a weaver but I have the opportunity to work with silk and cotton weavers in Laos.  Together we produce the fabric for the garments I design and make.  I particularly enjoy working with natural fibers and natural dyes.  Laos is particularly rich in these.  The work I do in Laos is mutually beneficial."

From 1st May to 20th June 2010 Dorothy exhibited with Tim Parry-Williams in the main gallery at Brewery Arts in  CLOTHing - Fabric of the East.
