This ten week course explores varied techniques in a free approach to life drawing from a model. If the artist is more experienced and has their own agenda to explore then this also is welcomed within the session.

Demonstrations and advice will be given throughout the sessions.

Start the ten weeks with some painting, keep it free and simple

More painting.

Wk 3 - Drawing and Collage
See how torn paper within your drawing can enhance your drawing.

Wk 4 - Pastel in Mono
Explore how a limited palette can make your think.

Wk 5 - Degas and Pastel Drawing
How an understanding of Degas can improve your pastel drawing.

Wk 6 - Express Yourself.
Free yourself, get away from measuring, don’t hesitate just do.

Wk 7 - Use of Colour Part 1
Can you see the colour? Or do you pale it down to nice skin colours put true primary colours in and see what happens.

Wk 8 - Use of Colour Part 2
Same again but try and relate it in your own way.

Wk 9 - Use of Line
Simple and effective relate it to your art work.

Wk 10 - Free Time
Your time, whatever you want to finish off with.
