The Big Draw

Free workshop  

The Big Draw gets deep down in the ocean blue this October as New Brewery Arts prepares for waves of visitors to join them in creating a watery installation in which drawings and drawers merge as part of an ocean scene.  

We want you to splash into action with the help of super-cool local artists Laurie Plant and Imogen Harvey-Lewis to create not only 3D waves but some amazing creatures to lurk or leap from the watery depths.  

Open to all, just bring yourselves, friends, family and lots of imagination. All materials provided.  

If I woz an artist….?

Tues 25 October

2 - 4pm

Drop in - £5 pay on the day  

All ages welcome

Be inspired by the wide range of materials we have on offer, and free to create whatever you want. Make a scary mask for Hallowe'en, a crazy creature puppet, a monster sculpture, a giant painting or a piece of jewellery.  

Throw a pot

Sat 29 October  

1 - 4pm  

Drop in - Pay £5 on the day  

Creative fun for all the family – have a go at throwing your pot on the potter’s wheel with Russell, our resident ceramicist. It’s good (not so clean) fun for all ages! If you want to keep your pot we can fire it for you to collect later.
