A sensory treat for all the family to enjoy
17 March - 29 April
Admission to the gallery is free
Hereford based maker Jon Williams has been inspired by the five senses: touch, taste, sound, smell and sight, to create this striking exhibition.
From tiny, handheld items to huge musical pots all the objects may be touched and explored to find out more about the materials used to make them.
Delve into sand pits to discover hidden treasures, explore tactile, textured wall panels, and play the musical pots.
All the family will be enticed by tables full of food-inspired ceramics. Try to guess the smells coming from the scented objects!

Jon produces almost everything on his potter's wheel and a DVD gives a real insight into how he makes his amazing creations.
You can also book a talk and demonstration by the maker on Tuesday 3 April - online booking for Sensational Clay - sources of inspiration at the end of this page.

Sensational Clay opening event
with artist Jon Williams
Saturday 17 March

Children celebrated the first day of our family friendly exhibition by letting their percussive imagination run riot - others learned how to make a rattling, shaking, clay sculpture!
There are three clay workshops for children over the Easter holidays. See the end of this page for details.
