Rick was born and educated in Cirencester and his son and daughters were born locally in Bristol, Lechlade and Fairford. Rick has been an artist all his life and his children have been deeply inspired by their father’s love of painting, making art an important part of their own lives.

Each has travelled and worked in different areas, and their own artistic styles are very diverse however their love of the local area brings them back regularly and they have had great fun putting this exhibition together.
RICK STRANGE LRPS DCP
Rick has exhibited in many local galleries and at the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol. The watercolour paintings exhibited in the gallery reflect his love of the local county, and particularly the area around Cirencester where he has lived all his life.
When the Sapperton Tunnel was built in 1788, piles of earth were thrown up and the owners of the land insisted on groups of trees being planted there. These sweeping fields and striking groups of Beech trees are an inspiration for much of his art.
DAVID STRANGE LRPS
David is a licentiate member of the Royal Photographic Society & has exhibited in many local galleries. The photographs on display were created during his recent journey through North Africa.

SUSAN STRANGE BSc(Hons)
Susan has exhibited in West Wales, The Oriel Mwdlan Gallery and at the Royal West of England Academy. She recently sailed her boat around the south coast from Wales to the Great Ouse in Cambridgeshire and the paintings on display reflect her experiences and love of the sea.
NELLE STRANGE BA(Hons)
Helen has a degree in Theatre Design and spent the last decade working as the Creative Director of a renowned London film events company & on events around the world. She currently exhibits her paintings at the Langham Gallery in Bloomsbury. The work on display here is from a series inspired by the views across the rooftops of central London. www.nellestrangedesigns.com
