Rona Laycock is a poet and short story writer who has been teaching creative writing since 2001. She has an MA in Creative and Media Writing and a PhD in English, both from Swansea University.  Her first poetry collection, Borderlands, was published in 2009 as an audio CD and her work has been published by Gomer, Honno, Mslexia and Magma among others.

Rona believes workshops and courses should be fun as well as educational and students are encouraged to share their work with others at the monthly Writers in the Brewery group at New Brewery Arts and in the writing magazine Graffiti.
