Did you know that public funding for the arts and culture in England costs each person just 14p per week?
What else gives such value for money to so many people?
Participating in the arts is increasingly recognised for its positive effects on physical and mental wellbeing. And participation is at the heart of all we do.
We are working with many partners including the NHS, Barchester Health, Adult Education, The Churn Project, and Cirencester College. Projects like Making Memories and Your Future provide enriching opportunities for isolated elderly people, victims of domestic violence, and adults and children facing barriers to mainstream learning. This means hard work from our small, dedicated team.
Students, artists and makers are nurtured through our partnerships with higher education, which offer opportunities for them to develop as professionals. Young people thoroughly enjoy our funky workshops, in and out of the classroom, while our projects with schools complement and enhance their education and sow seeds for future creativity.
But we can't do all this without your help.
