Week 1. Canal Boats

On the stroudwater canal, using a direct wash drawing, Direct and clean.

Week 2. Fruit in a bowl.

Jazz it up with strong on colour and strongblack outlines.

Week 3.”The steam train” 

A reminderof the old days, a scene from the past in pencil and wet on dry technique. 

Week 4. By the seaside.

Sea, sand and playing by the rock pools, an impression version of the day by the sea. Broken colour technique.

Week 5. Ducks on water and in flight.

Lets go naturalist and paint a charming scene , wet on wet with pastel.

Week 6. portrait.

Bring in a photograph of a loved oneor try using a mirror for aself portrait to produce a sensitive and lasting portrait.

Week 7. Sunset through trees.

Use oil pastel and charcoal as well as watercolour to create a vibrant sunset .

Week 8. Chinese pagoda.

Draw and colour wash a Chinese icon.

Week 9. Snow and more snow.

Discover how to create a snow scene using unusualpainting methods.

Week 10. A Christmas still life.

Celebrate the festive time of the year with a seasonal cheer with mince pies and cream and all things nice.
