Pottery parties for adults and children aged 6+
Sundays 1 - 4pm
A memorable experience for your child's birthday or a unique way of celebrating other special occasions.
This party is perfect for kids of all ages who want to get messy and love to try something new - so don't wear your party clothes!
The party starts with a demonstration on the potter’s wheel by experienced potter and teacher Bridget Williams who will also explain how finished pots will be fired.
Everyone has a go at throwing a pot on the wheel and then creates a clay sculpture - a tile, name plaque, picture frame, animal, face, gargoyle etc. depending on the age group. You can even play a Pass-the-Parcel type game with clay!
The finished pieces will be glazed and fired in the kiln ready for you to pick up later.
Minimum number: 6
Maximum number ages 6+: 9 children
Maximum number ages 8+: 12 children/adults
Costs
Clay and Cake Party from 1-4pm
£20 per head including clay models and party menu below.
Clay Party only from 1-3pm
£15 per head including clay models.
