Music lovers were hopping and bopping at the very first Brewery Blues in September, when the evening was hosted by local japester, Terry Keogh. Performers included:
Jazz Duo Meg & Andy Green
Blues Combo Red Hot & Blue (aka Tone Zone music)
and the young up-and-coming Jake Pembroke Band
Organiser John Drummond had this to say about the success of the evening …
“The audience feedback from our ‘pilot’ evening has been tremendous and I’d like to thank the performers for their support in getting this idea off the ground. It was great to see such a cross section of ages among the audience too.
We’re on the look out for new talent to showcase. We know there’s an abundance of it around the town, particularly in the ‘young-up-and-coming’ area. So please let us know if you’d like to be considered for the next line up”.
