Week 1 Drawing,

An essential one to start with, it gives you the freedom to start your art work and the brushwork to finish. Subject : Still life.

Week 2 Beach scene.

Remember the summer on the beach paint the sea, sand and rock pools, all in an impressionist style.

Week 3 Fruit bowl.

Let’s paint in true brilliant colour, let it really standout with strong brushstrokes.

Week 4 Cirencester.

Paint the centre of Cirencester in a quick sketch style to capture the essence of its character .

Week 5 Self Portrait.

Lets explore how we look, not how we think we look like, always a hard one this, but will also spring a few surprises.

Week 6 Looking at John Nash.

Lets copy and look at John Nash a 20th Century British iconic artist, don’t know him? lets get acquainted. Subject: a John Nash landscape.

Week 7 The harbour. 

Lets look at perspective and paint a seascape of boats and harbour side.

Week 8 Painting with sponges.

Let’s paint with an unusual painting tool, a sponge, and see how it can be a useful addition to your equipment. Subject a grassy Meadow. 

Week 9 Apples Grapes and oranges.

Produce a colourful still life, full of colour, shape and sensitivity a quality hard to achieve.

Week 10 Snowy days. On canvas.

Explore the snow covered trees and fields in this impressionist view of a winters day.
