Stephen makes handsome hand-made fine furniture and traditional quality upholstery.

Visit his workshop to see his skilled team creating hand stitched sofas, reproduction loungers and chairs.

The team is also available for repair and restoration work - and special commissions like the beautiful purple 16-seater sofa below.

In depth

Stephen exhibited at Masterpiece 2012 in London - the capital's premier fair for art, design and antiques; fusing the best of fine and decorative arts with premium collectors' items. 

The 'best of the best' exhibitors are by invitation only and include Edward Barnsley furniture, Hancocks fine jewellery and silver, Linley bespoke design and collectables, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and Shaw Speed & Custom fusion motorcycles.

Stephen exhibited a replica 18th Century Campaign Sofa - a type of furniture designed to be folded or broken down for ease of travel.  Historically, the furniture is associated with British Army Officers who often took high quality, portable furniture with them on military campaigns.

The fair takes place in the South Grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
