Workshop Assistant

The Crafty Hen

 

We are currently seeking workshop assistants to assist our freelance artists in delivery of sessions. We are wishing to add to our pool of staff, but are particularly recruiting for 2 positions in Gloucestershire.

 

1) 30th March (afternoon) Cotswolds. Requires someone with excellent hand sewing skills and creative flair.

 

2) 13th April (early afternoon) Stroud. Requires someone who is extremely competent with machine sewing and sharing these skills with others.

 

These positions would suit any textile makers/ artists looking to seek experience in delivering hands on participatory sessions.

 

We would like to recruit people who will work alongside our experienced artists and assist workshop participants with their activities and need to have an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly manner.

 

Sessions are usually held on Saturdays for around 3 hours. You will be expected to attend these 3 hours plus set up and clear up.

 

Access to transport is useful, but not essential for all jobs.
