Near and Far Exhibition at the RWA in Bristol.

Pegasus Art is delighted and proud to be sponsoring the Royal West of England Academy members' exhibition in Bristol. Over sixty RWA academicians are exhibiting exploring themes of travel and place. 18th July - 5th September 2010

David Hockney: Grimm's Fairy Tales at the RWA in Bristol

Running alongside the above Exhibition is a series of etchings illustrating six fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm. David Hockney has chosen vivid images to encapsulate a mood of the familiar tales with a contemporary and often humorous approach. Pegasus Art are delighted to help sponsor this exhibition. 18th July - 5th September 2010

ArtWorks

Corinium Restaurant , Cirencester Hospital

 

ArtWorks is a 6 month pilot scheme where artwork is displayed on the walls of the restaurant.  As well as improving the environment for patients, staff and visitors, the scheme will help increase the links between the hospital and the local community.  Also, 20% of the sale price of any artwork sold as a result of being displayed at the hospital will be donated to Gloucestershire PCT Charitable Funds. 

 

Members of the public are invited to come and see the exhibitions 7 days a week 2.00-5.00pm and a suggestion box is available for any comments on the scheme.

 

Entry to each exhibition and car parking at the hospital are FREE.

This is a photographic record of some of the corrugated iron buildings that can be found across Britain. Vanishing congregations, rust and dry-rot are hastening their disappearance. Few seem likely to survive.

 

Alasdair is a professional photographer and lives locally.

Craft in the Bay

Craft in the Bay is the permanent exhibition venue for contemporary applied art and craft by members of The Makers Guild in Wales and hosts an exciting programme of national and international exhibitions.

 

Located within the heart of the cultural Cardiff Bay area, visitors can enjoy seeing craft and art work of an exceptionally high standard, attend talks, craft demonstrations and participate in practical workshops.
