This workshop is aimed to encourage the artist to explore the diversity of coastal areas and build stunning paintings using their own choice of medium.
Coastal scenes are often busy bustling harbours with boats and people in abundance. Alternatively, they can be tranquil beaches or high cliffs and rolling waves. Max Hale will show you how to construct your painting and direct your inspiration to make your painting dynamic, colourful and atmospheric. This one day workshop will see you leaving motivated and ready to continue to build make paintings using the techniques and processes taught by Max in this session. You may use watercolour or acrylic paint and Max will work with the group and personally to help you enhance and develop your skills.

Coastal scene references - either photographs or sketches or both. Sketch book and pencil to lay out your work.
