Make a Green Mask Man

Peter hand builds sculptural and functional pieces for the home and garden from his studio in Gloucester using a range of coiling and slab building techniques.

He has exhibited widely across the region including Fresh Air at Quenington and at New Brewery Arts. He enjoys working from a wide variety of subject matter, with recent sculptures based on the figure, architecture and natural forms. However, underlying much of my work is a fascination in history and artefacts from the past such as ancient Chinese bronzes, medieval carvings and pre-Renaissance biblical imagery.

He was awarded a first class degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in 3D design and studied Ceramics at Alfred University, USA. He has extensive experience teaching Art and Design and Ceramics in secondary and in further education.
