Attendees will be given a basic over view of Photoshop. This will include the workspace, screen colour, tools, options bar, panels and other information displayed on the opening page of Photoshop. We will look at the most commonly used tools, shorts cuts and other methods to make the program easy to use and accessible including how to open files, make simple changes to that image to enhance it, crop and save. In addition, we will cover aspects relating to exposure adjustment, white balance, file formats in which to save the file, how to use simple layers techniques and present your images ready for printing etc.
Attendees will be encouraged to bring along photo images that they can then process on their own laptops. Bring laptop or suitable method to access Photoshop.
If Photoshop is not currently installed on a laptop, it can be downloaded on a free 7-day trial by accessing Adobe Website. Ensure batteries are fully charged as there may be limited access to power points for all.
