This course is a great introduction to a number of printmaking techniques.  Over the length of the course, you will learn how to make, ink and print a variety of plates.  You will learn how to adapt your artwork to different techniques such as lino, wood, drypoint etching, monoprint and collagraph.

Continuing students will be able to embark on more ambitious projects, whilst new students will be given every encouragement to develop their skills and confidence.  You will gain a good working knowledge of different types of printmaking and how to recognise them.

You will be printing with and without a press and you will learn about the materials and tools needed.   All basic materials are supplied.  Extras such as specialist papers are available at a modest charge.

It is helpful if you can bring ideas, images that you like or photographs to work from.
