Painting and printing are my passion and after a degree of fine arts in Canterbury Kent, I began working in community arts projects locally and from there to a PGCE.
My teaching has taken me to work in international schools in Barcelona and Prague and then back home around Stroud, Cheltenham & Cirencester area.
I've always chosen to teach part -time so that I can continue to develop my practice; having a fascination with the ever evolving potential of textual colour-layering and surface qualities. Since 2012 I've been a fully freelance community artist, enjoying working with local community groups & charities, schools and private clients.
My tutoring aims to embrace the ethos of Art being accessible to all - whether I am working with preschool toddlers, the elderly, mums, mainstream education or home educated young people.
