A three-day acrylic painting course for artists wanting to learn from scratch or refresh past skills

This three day course comprises specific day sessions that will teach how to use acrylics to make lively, interesting paintings and make the most of this flexible medium.

 

Day 1 - choice of paint and materials, colour mixing, how to start a painting, initial painting techniques and how to get the best out of the medium
Day 2 – discover composition, use of brushes, continuing colour mixing by painting a set subject to practice techniques.
Day 3 .- Choose your subject for the day and the tutor will work with you developing your confidence and skills. Giving advice on how to individually move forward with your work and what you can do to develop further techniques with acrylics

What you will need:
All tools and materials will be provided. On day 3 you will require references that inspire you to paint. Max will discuss this on day one and two.
