Create an unusual 3D sketchbook that is inspiring and beautiful! Use beautiful porcelain paperclay to create thin but strong sheets of clay, covered with your own designs and text, ready to be cut and laced into unique and sculptural porcelain books.

A fantastic introduction to working with paperclay and a funway to explore your creative ideas using an unusual material and some interesting techniques including scraffito, stamping and printing. Develop your designs creatively and loosely, exploring layout and visual affects. Paperclay is a versatile clay that can be layered, re-worked and coloured before firing. All the materials and tools are included. All work will be fired and will be ready to collect from the Brewery Arts after a few weeks. This workshop is a good introduction to working freely with clay sheets and a wonderful way to learn about the basics of paperclay.
