Agateware is a way to create stunning ceramics without the use of coloured glaze. We will be adapting and breaking the rules, combining earthenware and stoneware clay, layering, embellishing and weaving to create intricate and delicate patterns.

Moulds will be used as a starting point for a platter, so the focus of the workshop will be on developing beautiful and intriguing surfaces. Once started, you will find the process completely addictive and fascinating. This course is suitable for all levels, teaching will be through demonstration and step by step guidance tailored to each participant. Come and create a beautiful item that promises to be a dinner party talking point!
