Come and learn how to make your own ceramic tea-lights ready for the winter months. You will learn two different techniques in this session.

The first being on the wheel, you will learn how to centre and shape into a cylinder form. You will then be able to add holes and cutouts into the clay for the light to come through from your tea-light.

The second process will be slab building and you will learn how to roll textures and patterns into your clay. Once the clay stiffens you will be shown how to construct into a cylinder shape. Later in the day you will have a chance to add underglaze and coloured slips for a bit of colour onto your pieces. All work will be fired and glazed ready for you to collect a few weeks later.
