This is a course for those who have learned the basics of crochet and want to move to the next level. We’ll be working in a small group with personal attention so we can answer your specific questions. Each week we’ll be trying a new stitch so that you will be crocheting with confidence and making sense of baffling written patterns. The class will run at your pace, so it will be suitable for all levels, from beginner to improver.

We’ll be making granny squares to start your own project. It’s addictive, so you can carry on at home, on the bus… you won’t want to stop.

1 Be the boss of the double, treble and half-treble crochet stitches.

2 Have a go at working in the round to make a granny square.

3 Learn how to make a magic ring.

4 Tackling texture with scallops, clusters and bobbles.

5 Learn to read a written pattern.
