If you love to design, enjoy lino or woodblock printing and are interested in how to make your designs into saleable items, then this could be the workshop for you.
Over the course of the day, you will have the opportunity to make some prints, trialling your designs, and discuss how these could be developed into a product range. We will consider colour, fashion and identifying your market. We will look at marketing, sales outlets, branding, social media and more. You will get constructive advice about your designs and help to develop them further.
You will also be given plenty of information about suppliers and opportunities.
This workshop is suitable for people who already have some experience of lino or woodblock printing and who want to make the next step into making their craft into a business. The focus of the day will be on how to do this, but you will make prints at the same time as these things are discussed, so that it is a hands on day, rather than a lecture.
By the end of the day, you should have plenty of information to help you move close to selling your work, with a greater confidence.
