Drawing course for beginners and anyone who may wish to learn the classical way from the ground up! This course will take you from 'this is a pencil' right the way through to understanding the subtleties of making your drawings accurate and represent the subject clearly. Ideal also for painters who may find their endeavours with a brush are lacking due to being unable to 'see' the subject and record it.
We will cover the understanding of proportion and how to measure, which materials work with what type of paper. How to draw straight lines, circles, ellipses and other tips that will enable you to construct your drawings without fuss and bother. We will cover perspective and viewpoint, use graphite, ink and charcoal. Logically bringing your knowledge and practice together with course notes and the occasional piece of home assignment to encourage working on your own.
