A workshop allowing you to indulge in a day of creative handstitch. Taking inspiration from European folk-art motifs; hearts, flowers, birds and dancing figures, you will create a colourful, decorative textile panel using a combination of embroidery and applique techniques.

Under the guidance of artist and tutor, Kathleen Murphy, the day will begin with the opportunity to practice a series of embroidery stitches before being assisted to piece your chosen design together. Once complete, your panel would be suitable for framing or could be turned into a journal cover. Suitable for both the beginner and more experienced hand stitcher.
