A course aimed at simplifying and demystifying the possibilities of your sewing machine suitable for all abilities from complete beginners to seasoned embroiderers.

Each week we will work through a different set of techniques including experimenting with basic stitches, free machine embroidery, applique, experimental patchwork and using water soluble fabrics.

Jayne has been designing textiles for fashion and interiors for over twenty years and has a wealth of knowledge on how to push the boundaries of traditional sewing techniques. There will be plenty of inspirational samples, wonderful fabrics to work with and encouragement to combine techniques and happy accidents! Please feel free to bring along your own sewing machine if you wish.

This course will have a maximum of 6 students in the class.
