Over the course of the day you will be guided through a combination of simple stumpwork, applique and hand embroidery techniques to make a 3D bug brooch with wings.
Bostini Bugs can be found flitting in and out of the shafts of sunlight which pierce the trees in the forest near the workshop of Murgatroyd & Bean. They are often brightly coloured, highly decorative bugs who would like nothing more than to sit on your lapel and bask in the admiration of all who see them.
Skill level: intermediate. Suitable for those with some previous hand stitch experience.
