This workshop gives you a chance to play with pattern, colour and design and learn the skill of traditional Indian block printing, you will use your beautiful fabric to make a useful and stylish bag.

In the morning you will be able to experiment with the wide selection of Indian blocks guided by your tutor, you can try different colours, repeat patterns and perfect your technique before embarking on printing the linen fabric you will use for your bag . In the afternoon you will use a sewing machine ( don’t worry , help will be given if you are a bit out of practice!) to make a lined tote bag with fabric strap , useful for shopping and days out - a ‘bag for life’ with individuality and style ! All course materials including linen fabric, lining fabric and strap is included in the workshop price
