For absolute beginners, or those who haven't cut any lino for a very long time, this is a perfect way to start.
Using easy to cut lino, you will learn how to design, and cut your own original block, and how to print it on paper, in a single colour. We will look at a variety of techniques from other artists so that you can see a number of ways to make an image. You will receive guidance and encouragement at every stage of the process and you should end the day with a good knowledge of how to make further linocuts in a single colour.
