Methods of Making is an exploration of contemporary furniture design and the artists behind it.
The exhibition examines modern day issues of recycling, waste, economics, architecture, beauty, value and sustainability.

Alongside pieces of exquisite furniture, eight specially commissioned films shine a light into the artists’ studios, demonstrating their use of conventional hand-crafting techniques alongside modern technologies. The films have been made in collaboration with the University of Lincoln to capture the artists’ ways of working, thinking, planning and construction.
