Inspired by the work of a variety of famous artists, would you like to create wonderful objects with a variety of techniques? Then this is the club for you!

The first five weeks of this course will be run by Susie Walker who will draw from the work of great Get 20th & 21st century artists like David Hockney, Rachel Whiteread, Nikki de St Phalle and Alexander Calder. Using different craft techniques each week, you will be able to take home your own response to these artist’s work.

After the half term break, Christine Mumford will be teaching a vibrant introduction to Mexican folk arts and crafts. Expect mixed media portraits inspired by Frida Kahlo, banner making, and the craft of Hojalata to create you very own piece of tin artwork.
