Bob is one of the UK’s most highly recognised glassmakers. He designs, hand makes and finishes each piece, inspired by architecture, geometry, the manmade and natural worlds, as well as the capabilities of glass itself. He exploits the many properties of the material through refraction or reflection, sharpness or softness, transparency or opacity, working with its fluidity, or ‘freezing’ it as the desired form is realised. Each piece is a one-off, demonstrating a masterly love of the material and attention to detail. Bob’s work has been exhibited around the world.
