Remnant Revolution

Remnant Revolution transforms surplus and remnant fabrics into premium handcrafted homeware, creating flexible, fairly paid work for women while combining circular design, community skill-sharing and social impact to keep materials in use and empower women through fairly paid, meaningful employment.

Through skilled workshops and creative partnerships, they give beautiful fabrics a new purpose and a new story. Our team of seamsmistresses share their skills in our simple, relaxed sewing classes.

Come Sew With Us 

Join the Remnant Revolution team for three weeks of daily sewing classes starting on 10th September at New Brewery Arts in our Gallery, with something for everyone to learn, make and enjoy.

From upholstery, frilling and piping to adding a zip, block printing on fabric, mending and fixing, there are plenty of ways to learn a new skill or hone one you already have, all using beautiful rescued remnant fabrics looking for a new purpose.

The team will be on hand to help you build confidence with a sewing machine, try something new and create something you can be proud of.

But Come Sew With Us is about more than sewing. It's about meeting people, sharing skills and making real human connections around the sewing table.

Come alone, bring a friend, meet someone new and enjoy the simple joy of making something with your own hands.

Everyone is welcome, whatever your ability.
