Join ceramic artist, Rhi Jarman, to create your own mushroom decorations using porcelain paper clay.

In this workshop, Rhi will show you how to hand build and decorate a hanging mushroom bell decoration and a mushroom ring dish/jewellery holder. Rhi will demonstrate a variety of techniques including pinching, hollowing, sculpting, and how to use porcelain paper clay to create fine natural textures. You will also have the opportunity to add colour using underglazes and oxides.

You will leave this workshop with skills in working in 3D design, hand building, mark making, texturising, fettling and colour application, and an understanding of how to create beautiful pottery. Your final two pieces can be optionally glazed following the workshop, prior to stoneware firing.
