Modern Mastery: A Night with Keith Murray’s Wedgwood Designs .
Join us for a talk and private view of work by Keith Murray, along with a glass of fizz.
With V&A’s Wedgwood ceramics curator Kate Turner and New Brewery Arts trustee and Curator Theresa Bergne
Step into the sleek world of 1930s design at New Brewery Arts for a one-night-only celebration of Keith Murray—architect, RAF veteran, and one of Wedgwood’s most iconic designers. Known for his elegant, minimalist ceramics, Murray brought a modernist touch to British pottery, crafting vases and tableware with clean lines and subtle matt glazes that still feel fresh today.
This special evening presents a newly gifted collection of Murray’s work, offering a rare chance to see these timeless pieces up close. To enrich the experience, we’ll be joined by the V&A’s Wedgwood ceramics curator, who will delve into Murray’s design legacy and his influence on British ceramics and product design.
Whether you're a design enthusiast, ceramics buff, or simply curious, come and immerse yourself in the artistry of Keith Murray. Discover how his vision helped shape the look of modern Britain, one elegant curve at a time
