Who is processing your data?

New Brewery Arts is collecting and processing your data. We collect personal data from you when you register to join our mailing list to receive newsletters or other information you have chosen to receive from us. This information is protected by UK data protection law

We ask you to provide us with details such as name, postcode, phone number and email address along with a choice of information you would like us to contact you about. Some fields are optional but certain fields are mandatory.

What is the purpose of processing the data?

The data we collect from you is important to understand our customer requirements.  e.g. what you are interested in and want to hear more from us about. It also helps us to understand our site user base and allows us to send you information regarding website or New Brewery Arts policy changes, such as modifications to our Terms & Conditions.

We will use your data for the purposes of a commercial transaction, e.g. if you make an online, in person, or telephone booking with New Brewery Arts for a course, workshop, room booking or craft item.

We do not share your personal information with third parties or send you New Brewery Arts communication without your prior consent — you must give us your consent to do so by ticking the relevant check box when you subscribe to our mailing list.

What are the outcomes of data processing?

You receive only information that you have expressly agreed to receive when subscribing to our mailing list.

How can I change, unsubscribe or delete my information?

You can opt-out from our communications by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any electronic communication you receive from us.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you may contact us at any time by emailing hello@newbreweryarts.org.uk. Your information will be deleted permanently within 1 week of making your request. You are welcome to sign up again at a later date if you choose.

How can I exercise my rights?

It is your right to contact any data controller (such as New Brewery Arts) to request information about how and why your data is being used. This includes Breach Notification, Right to Access, Right to be Forgotten and Data Portability.
