Join woodworker Rob on this day full day workshop to learn the heritage craft of green woodwork.

In this hands on workshop Rob you will be learning about traditional green woodworking, exploring methods and techniques and putting some of those methods into practice.

Over the course of the day Rob will teach you how to use knives, axes and other traditional woodworking tools safely to create your own green wood products. If you fancy doing something a little different then this is for you.

Please note that this workshop is for those aged 18 and over.

You are welcome to bring a lidded bottle of water with you but we kindly ask that you do not bring food into the studio.

Meet Your Tutor - Rob thorpe

Rob Thorpe is a Green Woodworker based in Oxfordshire with a passion for heritage craft.

Many years ago, he fell in love with Green Woodworking after spending time in the woods on a stool making course and has been hooked ever since. After a career teaching woodwork in schools he thought it was time to indulge his passion for green woodworking and heritage craft full time.

Over the years Rob has been able to develop his skills, and loves producing unique hand carved spoons, bowls and other greenwood products.
