Join artist and printmaker Brian Britton on this day workshop to print a set of Easter inspired greetings cards.
In this workshop Brian will teach you the fundamentals of printmaking. These will be broken down and taught with multiple demonstrations and one-to-one guidance.
Over the course of the day, Brian will show you the process of designing, cutting, and the printing of your own Valentine’s card. You will have detailed advice and support throughout all the processes to ensure that you can successfully use the specialist cutting tools for cutting your design. You will print your hand carved block on the printing press, followed by selecting your best designs and mounting them on a background of your own choosing and then finally onto a matching card.
You will leave this workshop with a clear understanding of the processes involved with designing, cutting, and producing your own limited-edition cards and the confidence to continue exploring this exciting art form.
