Design and make your own pair of silver earrings. Silversmith Charlotte Duckworth will help you get hands-on with traditional silversmithing tools and techniques.

You'll begin by exploring ideas for your earrings and developing a design that is personal to you. Whether you want to create simple silver studs, playful shapes or a pair of statement drop earrings, Charlotte will help you consider what's possible and choose the right techniques to bring your ideas to life.

You'll learn how to use a piercing saw to carefully cut your designs from silver before experimenting with hammers and stamps to add pattern and texture. Depending on your design, you may also explore techniques including doming and forming to transform flat silver into three-dimensional shapes, as well as soldering to construct and finish your earrings.

Charlotte will guide you throughout the making process, helping you select the right tools and techniques for your individual design. With plenty of freedom to experiment with shape, texture and form, each pair of earrings will be completely unique.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have gained hands-on experience of a range of traditional silversmithing techniques and created your own pair of silver earrings, designed and handmade by you.
