Join ceramic artist Rhi Jarman for a tailored, hands-on improvers throwing short course.
This course is the perfect next step for students who have attended one or more Introduction to Throwing courses at New Brewery Arts, or who already have throwing experience and want to practise and develop their techniques. On this course you will improve your existing pottery throwing skills, refine your technique, and explore new creative forms such as mugs, plates, and vases.
Whether you need further support to centre and throw the perfect cylinder, or want to explore specific shapes and techniques, this course is open and adaptable to your experience level and areas of interest. You will be free to work at your own pace and on your own projects, with guided support and weekly technical demonstrations to expand your creative skillset.
Have fun experimenting with our wide range of glazes to create surface decoration, and select your 6 favourite pieces to be stoneware fired in our electric kilns.
