Join artist and holistic creative therapist Daisy Embury in this workshop to explore your creative side alongside your little one.

In this half day workshop, Daisy will provide a gentle space to reconnect to yourself, other mothers, and your little one through a mix of creative prompts.

As a Mother, full time caring for your little one can often mean your own sense of identity, voice and joys can slip. Daisy will help you explore creatively through short guided meditations, and taking you through creative prompts using a range of mediums including watercolours, coloured pencils and pens. You will have space to reconnect with the joy inside of you and some escapism from the busy Mother mind.

You will then be moving into oil pastels and combining the mediums. This is more of an intuitive space to play with the soft mediums. Daisy will be introducing life bubbles, impact of creativity, and what simple creative tools they can use in your day to day life.

You will leave this workshop having experienced the joy of craft, space to reconnect with the joy inside of you and some escapism from the busy Mother mind. You will have a collection notes and experimental drawing of the little things that bring you joy, as well as creative tools, so you can begin to incorporate these in your everyday life should you wish to do so moving forward.

Daisy is an artist, oil painter, and holistic creative therapist.

She has been oil painting since she was 12, with her subject matter growing alongside her curiosities. Prior to oil painting, she expressed herself through a range of different creative modalities, including dance, singing, other paint mediums, poetry, and collecting crystals.

Alongside her own creative practice, studying Fine Art at university, and her role as Personalisation Artist & Expert for Louis Vuitton, Melbourne, Daisy has always been interested in creativity as a tool for healing. During her degree, she delved into short studies in Mindfulness-Based Art, worked in a yoga studio, and was influenced by Alain de Botton’s Art as Therapy. She also spent a few years in New Zealand, working within rehabilitation, alongside prisoners, facilitating, and with children, all of which she was able to use creativity as a tool to better wellbeing and dive inwards.

As a graduate of Holistic Creative Therapy, Daisy’s work is guided by the values of love, creativity, and curiosity, and rooted in a deep belief in creativity as a gentle tool for self-connection and healing. Daisy offers a calm, supportive environment where participants are invited to explore creative expression at their own pace.
