Join experienced woodworker Rob Thorpe on this immersive 2-day workshop to make a wooden stool.
Over the course of two rewarding days with experienced green woodworker Rob, you will learn how to carve and create a beautifully simple, rustic wooden stool from start to finish. This hands-on workshop introduces you to the satisfying craft of green woodworking, where freshly cut timber is shaped using time-honoured techniques.
Under Rob’s expert guidance, you will learn to handle a range of traditional hand tools as you form the seat and legs, gaining practical skills and confidence along the way. With years of experience and a deep connection to heritage craft, Rob offers clear, patient instruction suited to both beginners and those looking to refine their skills.
By the end of the two days, you will leave not only with your own handcrafted stool, but also with a deeper appreciation for the materials, methods, and quiet rhythm of working wood by hand.
