Start your new year with an artistic intention.
The pressure to change, set new and big intentions in the new year is real. But we don’t always have to start big, it’s important to acknowledge how far we have already come, and that we are simply worth celebrating right here, right now.
This 6-week course is designed to give you the space and time to explore a variety of different creative mediums, to tap into your creative mind and provide freedom to express your own desires, or to simply just enjoy.
Each week will be themed, and will include prompts and creative questions to allow you to connect with both yourself and others with creativity. The sessions will be introduced with a poem, and an opportunity to journey inwards.
Week 1: Working with Watercolours and Your Heart
Week 2: Intuition and Clay
Week 3: Creative Writing, and Kindness
Week 4: Pens, Pencils and Pastels
Week 5: Dark, Light, and Challenging Your Thoughts
Week 6: Symbolism, Sound and Colour
The benefits of this course include being able to tap into creativity, connecting with both yourself and others, deep relaxation, space to be, reconnecting with your intuition, and building on creative skills. Tutor Daisy Embury will be on hand to both guide you, and support anything which you feel stuck on.
This is a great opportunity for those who are wanting to lean into new habits and gentle focus in the new year.

MEET YOUR TUTOR - Daisy Embury
Daisy has been painting with oils since the age of twelve and continues to explore the fragile beauty of the human experience and the natural world. Before discovering oil painting, Daisy expressed her creativity through singing, dancing, writing poetry, and crafting handmade cards.
Her artistic journey began with portraiture, later evolving into botanical studies during university. Over time, Daisy’s work has merged these subjects, using botanicals as symbolic representations of human experiences and emotions. Her interest in the connection between art and personal healing deepened during university, where she completed a workshop in Mindfulness-Based Art Therapy.
Having lived in the UK, Florence, New Zealand, and Australia, Daisy’s international experiences have shaped her artistic and personal growth. Beyond her art practice, she has worked in settings that bridge creativity and wellbeing, including New Zealand prisons, crisis support work, yoga studios, and various creative workshops.
While working as a Personalisation Artist and Expert at Louis Vuitton in Melbourne, Daisy’s artistic identity began to bloom. The combination of creative work and nurturing professional relationships helped her reconnect with her creative voice.
Now a graduate in Holistic Integrated Creative Art Therapy, Daisy’s practice is grounded in three core values: love, creativity, and curiosity. These values form the foundation of her work, both as an artist and as a Holistic Creative Therapist,
as she continues to explore and share the healing potential
of creativity.
