Join ceramicist Chiara Coppola on this 2-day workshop to learn how to throw a teapot.
In this relaxed and creative workshop, Chiara will teach you how to hand-build your own ceramic house tealight holder from clay. You will be supported throughout your making, will one-to-ones and demonstrations throughout the session.
Over the course of the day you will using simple hand-building techniques such as slab construction. You will shape and assemble your piece, adding details like windows, doors, and surface texture to create a unique, characterful design. You will be guided through each step of the process, from forming the structure to refining the surface and adding decorative elements. Chiara will then demonstrate simple surface techniques to personalise your piece.
